by Thomas Daniels

Many books have been written, to the praise of their authors, because of the author’s ability to stimulate the readers’ minds. These books can be fiction, or non-fiction, personal stories, or even more serious works. Some draw accolades, anyhow.

These books by this author, is none of the above. The author of these books is a Christian, a child of God, who sought to learn what God was telling him, when he read the Bible. Even though men wrote those sixty-six books, the Bible makes it plain that they were all inspired by God. To this author, that means that the messages in the Bible come from God, and if we do not understand them completely, we are to ask God for wisdom, so we may understand His messages.

These two books are the result of that philosophy. Even in college, the author was not comfortable with what he was being taught concerning what the prophecies of Daniel meant. The interpretations that the author encountered in the literature, and even from his church, did not impress him that what he was being taught, was what God was telling Daniel to relate to us.

As a result, the author embarked on a study that would assist him in discovering what God was really telling Daniel to tell us. That study covered a period of more than two decades, but was it worth it. The author was right. The extant interpretations were what men thought God was telling Daniel. They were not what God was actually telling him.

The books will surprise their readers, because of the startling revelations recorded in them. The concentration of the author’s study was on the last four visions that Daniel received and recorded. The popular interpretations of those four visions were the ones the author could not fathom before his study was conducted.
